Relief Pain Clinic Offers Crash Course on Interventional Pain Management

Eligibility: Applicant must be a medical graduate (MBBS) from any recognized university. He must have completed one-year residency from a recognized Hospital in the following disciplines: Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurosurgery, and General Medicine. Desirable: Post-graduate degree/diploma in the above disciplines.
Schedule: The training programme is arranged every month.

Details of course:
� Introduction, Definition & Classification of pain.
� Anatomy & Physiology of pain, Pharmacotherapy of pain.
� How to examine a patient with pain.
� Assessment of Pain including psychological assessment.
� Radiographic imaging in Pain management and Safety measures.
� Equipments in Regional Anesthesia, Common regional anaesthesia techniques.
� Ambulatory infusion Pumps in Regional Anesthesia & Pain Management.
From day-2 to day-5 there will practical demonstration of cases at Operating Room. Participant doctors can closely observe the procedures, but they are not allowed to perform the procedures. There will be around five procedures daily. At first the cases will be discussed and then doctors will be taken to the Operating Room to observe cases.
