Relief Pain Center is proud to announce a one year diploma/fellowship programme in Interventional Pain Management in affiliation with ACMI Pain Care, Chicago USA. It is the first of its kind in India and the candidates will be receiving a qualifying certificate after an examination.
The proposed faculty will be from ACMI Pain Care, Chicago, USA; Harvard University Affiliated Pain Centers, Boston, USA; Cleveland Clinic Pain Department, Cleveland, USA and Relief Pain Center, Srinagar, India. Pain physicians from India who are FIPP qualified by the World Institute of Pain (WIP) will also be on the faculty. Final list of the names of faculty will be announced soon.
Requirements for admission:
Candidates/Applicants should have passed MD/Diploma DM in one of the specialities below:
Anaesthesia, Neurology, Physical Medicine, Radiology, orthopaedics.
Applicants will be selected based on their qualifications.
Dates for admission will be announced soon – no more than 15 candidates will be admitted each year.
Hostel facility will be available to the candidates.
Course fee will be approximately Rs. 13 lakhs per year (final amount to be announced soon).

Relief Interventional Pain Clinic will have a 10 day educational program which will include 3 days of didactic curriculum and orientation in the beginning followed by 7 days of live procedure demonstrations with hands on training.

Number of procedures will cross 20 per day and will include most of the procedures required for the FIPP examination. At the end of course MCQ exams and case discussions will be held to better prepare for the FIPP examination.

Doctors should be MD Anaesthesia, DM neurology, MD radiology.orthopaedics
Candidates will be shortlisted after their CV is reviewed. Fee for the course will be 35,000 for Indian candidates and 1000$ for international candidates.
